Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site
In 1709, at the Old Furnace in Coalbrookdale, Abraham Darby perfected the smelting of iron using coke and started the Industrial Revolution. Three hundred years later, the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust appointed JANVS Design to create a series of permanent exhibitions that celebrate this momentous event. JANVS is now working on the £1.2m redesign of the Museum of Iron.
