Edmund Rice Heritage Centre, Ireland
Edmund Rice (born in 1762) devoted his life to the education of poor children and set up his first school in 1802. He also founded the first religious order for men in Ireland and was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1996. Today, the Edmund Rice Brothers serve in 35 countries across the globe. JANVS Design created this heritage centre on the site of Edmund's first monastery.
